Jour et Nuit Culture supports you in your creative projects by providing work space at your disposition.
SPACES :
Temporary residence
To support the development of artistic projects in Paris, the association Jour et Nuit Culture develops the creation of work space for artistic work temporarily and shared, at the renowned Place Saint Michel, since the start of 2014. Featuring a dozen workplaces separated between 6 floors and 3000 supporters.
In partnership with the city of Paris, we propose to visual artists (or collective artists) private or shared workplaces preparing for a local exposition. Temporary workplaces are available, they are mostly all equipped with a water source.
The association is open to all aspects of visual arts : Painting, Sculpting, Videography, Illustration, and more….

Six floors of workplaces (no elevator) - Internet connection available - restrooms and showers - flexible work hours -No -one site accomodation.
Residential Dance / Corporal Expression in artistical workplace
The association Jour et Nuit Culture, artist managed, is situated in the local premises of St Michel, 6th arrondissement, with workspaces, exposition rooms and a shared dance room. This space is placed in the disposition for an artistic residence with a corporal sense. It has the particularity to also be the work space of artists of the association Jour et Nuit Culture. This proposed residence will thus be the base for a mixture between two artistic expressions.
The Space : 30 m² of space, on the 5th floor, no elevator.
Configuration of the Room : all in length, walls taken up by works of painters.
Water Access: Situated on the 2nd and 3rd floor. (Restroom: 2nd floor / Shower : 3rd floor)
Mirrors available - Wifi available.

Addressed to all artists, without limit of age or nationality.
Conditions :
The artists in residence must participate with the association and its projects . Artists are bound by an agreement set forth at the start and must comply with the amount of the monthly fee :

150€/month for shared space,
-
240€/month for individual workplace of 15-25m² of space.
It is important that the artists be familiarized with the association’s projects via our website.

To understand the challenges of volunteer work it must be collectively done by its members.
As the association works through the investment of each member, we ask the candidate to reflect on its possible contribution to community life (maintenance of local participation, any skills, other .... ) to desired height of 4h to 8h / per month.
